kcalIngredients
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1½ cups milk
6 Granny Smith apples (washed, skin left on)
1 bag Snickers candy bars (or full-size bars, chopped)
8 ounces whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
Directions
- Prepare the Vanilla Pudding Base
In a mixing bowl, combine one box of instant vanilla pudding with 1½ cups of milk. Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated. Once mixed, set it aside to thicken while you prepare the remaining ingredients. - Core and Slice the Apples
Wash six Granny Smith apples thoroughly. Using an apple corer, peeler, and slicer (or your preferred method), core and slice the apples. Leave the skins on for added texture and color. - Dice the Apples
Transfer the sliced apples to a very large bowl. Dice them into bite-sized pieces. Trim away any blemishes or tough spots as needed. Don’t worry if the apples begin to brown slightly—once mixed with the creamy base, it won’t be noticeable. - Chop the Snickers Bars
Cut the Snickers candy bars into small chunks. You can use a bag of fun-size bars or full-size bars. Chop them in one direction and then again across to create evenly sized pieces. Set aside. - Combine Pudding and Whipped Topping
Add 8 ounces of whipped topping (such as Cool Whip) to the prepared vanilla pudding. Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding until fully combined and smooth. - Mix Everything Together
Add the diced apples and chopped Snickers to the pudding mixture. Stir until all ingredients are evenly coated and well distributed. - Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the salad until ready to serve. This salad keeps well in the refrigerator and can be made ahead of time for convenience.
